You may/may not have just sat your exams and if so, I hope they have gone well. Exams are important for any Actuary but in the current climate; experience is key.
Are you a key contact for your clients? Are you project managing larger, more complex projects?
Are you moving forward?
In some cases Part Qualified actuaries find it less risky to take the plunge and instead of having a look to see if the grass is greener, they'll stay put and wait until they qualifiy; The reason behind this? Because of the "myth" that this gives them more opportunity in the market place once they do.
This is misguided.
It's the opposite, Part Qualified actuaries who sit and plod along in a comfortable role who aren't getting the exposure they should be tend to find it extremely difficult to find that role after qualifying because of the lack of experience.
