Are you a technically minded pensions professional? Do you want to be part of an automation team that is constantly striving to improve? BWD Search & Select is currently recruiting for a Pensions Calculations Analyst to work with one of the biggest and most respected third-party administrators in the UK.

Naturally, you’ll be well versed in all thing’s pensions, DB & DC, you’ll also have a detailed understanding of a variety of calculations such as transfers and retirements. As an analyst you will be interpreting technical documentation and data & producing supporting test packs and detailed calculation proforma.

As a Pensions Calculations Analyst, you’ll work on a variety of schemes of different sizes, often at the same time. Although no two days are the same, your days will consist of interpreting the scheme rules in line with current legislation and build specifications based on your findings then translating them into a requirement document. You will also:
  • Provide expert knowledge with regards to legislations in pensions
  • Work on a wide range of DB, DC and hybrid schemes
  • Perform in-depth analysis of Trust Deeds and Rules
  • Interact with 3rd parties such as the scheme actuaries and solicitors in order to overcome complex queries
