This is a new role to the market and should appeal to experienced DC pensions professionals with the vision and skills to build a business, running it as a separate channel within the company.
All options are on the table as this individual will be charged with developing a competitive market-leading proposition and building a DC strategy that will dovetail seamlessly with the firms acknowledged expertise within the DB market.
With over 70 years of experience in the market overall, and a loyal client bank of over 200,000 members within their DC propositions, as well as over £1Bn DC AUM this is not a greenfield site. However there is scope for this to increase hugely given their DB schemes have over £10Bn AUM.
This is a senior level appointment, with a seat on the Senior Management Team, and reporting directly to the CEO.
It goes without saying that you must have a great deal of experience of UK DC pension schemes, including exposure to, and understanding of administration and investment-related issues.
A natural leader, you will have the gravitas to inspire others, a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and the strategic vision to plot a course to build a cutting-edge solution. This must be coupled with the operational skill to ensure the strategy is carried-out
