So you’re thinking of making a move out of practice. But weighing up your options in industry is tough.

The fact is, your skills and level of training are in demand. You have pick of the litter, options, and a real chance to make a career defining decision. It sounds like a good position to be in, but, I dare say it makes the choice a little more challenging.

Personally, I say it’s a good problem to have. If you’re in a practice environment I may have a problem worth considering.

A large national Financial Services business based in Leeds is seeking a Financial Accountant, ideally from a practice background. The business, a mere 10 minuet walk from Leeds train station, is well regarded as a market leader in their industry.

The role has a mixed responsibility, focusing on both Financial and Scheme Accounting. The main purpose of the role is to manage financial and investment accounting and reporting operations for the business and to ensure that the financial control environment meets the current and future needs of the organisation.

They offer unrivalled career progression, you will report directly in to the financial controller with whom you will work closely with, whilst managing 2 reports of your own.

To stand out, you will ideally be ACCA or ACA qualified with 2 to 3 years post qualification experience. The role is perfect for those either making their first move or second move in to industry and promises to be a solid foundation for the future.
