The work involves advising on trust law, commercial terms, contract law, trustee governance, investments, corporate law and corporate support work. For a specialist area, a pensions lawyer uses a wider range of legal skills than almost any other.
As a lawyer in the Pensions Team, you will work day to day alongside colleagues in employment, private client, corporate, real estate, banking, commercial and litigation.
This is a very close-knit and happy team, busy but always recognising that it is important to strike the right work/life balance.
NQs and junior Associates will get a great deal of responsibility early, whilst always working under the supervision of Partners, senior colleagues so assistance and expertise are never far away if required. You will also get involvement in business development from very early in your career, building your skillset quickly to set you up for later in your career.
