Job Description

Primary purpose of the role:
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, consulting on how to effectively and creatively communicate pensions and benefits
  • Maximise account growth within a specified revenue target, control revenue, forecasts and collection of payment
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Professional development of direct reports to ensure they reach their potential both personally and for the business
 


Key responsibilities
  • Develop, review and deliver client growth plans for a portfolio of client accounts, strategically and proactively managing opportunities – thinking bigger than single projects and anticipating client needs
  • Proactive scheduling of project review meetings, weekly/monthly status meetings (as appropriate), quarterly planning meetings
  • Owning annual comms plan for clients
  • Strategic knowledge of clients – what their business objectives are, key issues etc. in order to display a genuine interest in their business, have meaningful conversations and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Develop detailed proposals with associated commercials for client approval
  • Lead clear and effective briefings to the Projects and Creative Teams, working collaboratively to gain the best possible service for the client ensuring that resource is being used effectively
  • Monitor progress of delivery against revenue forecast, and assist in resolving barriers to meeting forecast
  • Control invoicing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring payments and schedule is agreed with client, all external costs are paid by client, invoicing is timely in order to minimise Work In Progress (WIP) in Creative Sparks accounts, and larger projects are part billed with agreement with the client
  • Adhere to Creative Sparks forecasting systems and processes – use of SalesForce to capture business development pipeline and Sharepoint for projected income expected from projects won. Regular review and update of these systems
  • Ensure revenue protection processes are followed including completion of Budget Authorisation for internal cross charge projects with PM Practice
  • Have knowledge of the Creative Sparks business plan and understand your contribution to success
  • Work collaboratively with the Creative Sparks team to develop proposition opportunities
  • Respond to new business opportunities in order to secure new clients or projects (proposals, presentations, pricing) and support on RfPs at all stages
  • Contribute to Monthly Operational Board (MOB) reporting
