Described by the CEO as their most important hire this year, you will take over Scheme Actuarial responsibility for a number of their largest schemes, and act as the figurehead of their Business Development activity within the large scheme space.
Following their well-documented growth, they are now regularly included on 1 in 2 RTTs that come to market within this sector, leading to a significant opportunity to win large client mandates for this market-leading Pensions consultancy.
As well as taking over existing marquee appointments and leading on BD, you will have a significant role to play in helping to steer the direction of the business. A lean, technologically driven consultancy with an aborrance of red tape, they are hungry to continue their growth, and see this hire as having a great deal of influence and recognition within the firm.
You will work closely with the young and ambitious management team, contributing ideas and having a highly visible effect on the bottom line.
You will be an experienced Scheme Actuary with a track record of working with and winning clients with funds in excess of £500M, although ideally north of this. Ambitious to move your career on a step, you will appreciate the benefits of working within one of the larger Actuarial Consultancies, whilst at the same time recognising the attractions and benefits offered within a leaner, more fleet-footed firm that is closing fast on the Big 3.
