BWD are pleased to be assisting a Private Bank who require a Wealth Manager to join their Aberdeen offices.

This is a newly created role due to a significant influx of investment business into the bank.

As part of a small team you will work closely with a Director level Financial Planner and meet the investment needs of clients, providing advice on wealth structuring, investments, offshore and onshore bonds and protection.
You will manage the growth, profitability and business mix of your portfolio and deliver sustainable business growth across a broad product range. Further duties include;

- Undertaking investment and pension reviews, liaising with specialists where appropriate
- Identifying opportunities for referrals to the wider function and making sure that these are suited to the client’s needs
- Keeping up-to-date with financial markets and macroeconomic news, and remaining well informed of the views of markets and asset classes
- Promoting the bank’s image, reputation and credibility in defined priority markets, to strengthen and leverage the brand and build business opportunities

Whilst you will be targeted on new business, this is not the only key performance indicator as you will inherit clients and also receive a steady flow of new introductions from the corporate and commercial teams.

The successful candidate will have recent and relevant experience advising HNW clients in an Investment Management capacity along with a minimum CISI Level 6 (PCIAM) qualification. An understanding of lending would be advantageous.

Long-term, this role will involve the successful individual to be in the Aberdeen office frequently and so applicants need to be local to the area.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who would like to work for an established and reputable brand, enjoys or would like ownership of their client relationships and had a pro-active mindset.
