Legal Counsel – Legal Technology & Data Management, Manchester
£70,000 - £85,000 Basic + bonus & benefits.


Are you a qualified lawyer with significant experience relating to financial services or investment legal agreements, with an interest in Legal technology? Do you work for a law firm or financial institution? Would you like to change your role and work for a well-regarded international bank, which gives you a platform to develop your skills and challenge yourself in a collaborative environment?

Your new role would be a challenging permanent opening as Legal Counsel – Legal Technology & Data Management based in Manchester.

You will be helping to maintain and enhance the firm’s artificial intelligent legal agreement repository by advising on legal issues. Coordinating various departments and stakeholders, including but not limited to legal, operations, compliance and lines of business to execute activities. In addition you will provide advice related to the interpretation of a variety of banking agreement types. Another important aspect of the role will be to advise on enterprise regulatory and strategic change programs combining legal subject matter expertise and thorough knowledge the repository.
 
In order to qualify for this excellent opportunity, you will be a qualified lawyer (3+ years PQE) with a legal background in financial services (or practice with FS client) with experience of various financial services contract and an interest in technology in the Legal arena.
