Working within a specialist niche team within this leading Global Business Consultancy, you will act as the ringmaster overseeing key service lines in and around corporate deals     (M & A, divestments, PE etc), with particular focus on the Pensions and HR aspects of these deals. 

This is an all-encompassing role, requiring you to have significant involvement right across the lifecycle of the deal, including Due Diligence; Pre-deal Management Consulting and Organisational Design; Implementation; and then the Post-Implementation phase, ensuring that the best laid plans are carried out professionally for the clients’ benefit.

Currently numbering 30, this is considered one of the crack teams within the UK arm of the firm, engaging in high value, high tariff work, with high visibility both within and outside the firm.

You will be responsible for managing these large-scale projects end-to-end from day one, in conjunction with your colleagues. 

You will ideally come from a UK Pensions Actuarial background, and be a post-qualified actuary.  You will need to have a firm technical grasp of UK and international pensions, coupled with the superb communication skills you will need to manage the client relationships, and coordinate across the wider firm.

You will synchronise the provision of services across Legal, Corporate Finance, Banking, PE Houses, HR Consulting and actuarial teams.

Given the high visibility of the role, there are excellent promotion prospects, with individuals in this team being promoted earlier than those in other actuarial teams.
