Typically actuarial roles with go to actuaries, but what about those looking to break in? It's difficult, really difficult - you don't need me to tell you that.
I am currently working with an Actuarial firm in Reading who are looking for junior actuaries to compliment the existing team who will consider people with a pensions background but perhaps haven't been given the opportunity for an actuarial role.
You'll be working on DB Pensions schemes, you'll be offered study support (which if you've done your research, is pricey) and given the opportunity to get some client exposure early on in your career.
To the graduates without work experience in pensions, this one isn't going to suit you I'm afraid - however I will be more than happy to point you in the direction of some Grad Schemes.
