Are you a qualified lawyer with significant experience relating to outsourcing, procurement and supplier governance? Do you work for a law firm, financial institution, large services business?

Your new role would be a challenging permanent opening as Managing Counsel – Procurement and Third-Party Risk, Director. Based in Manchester.

You will be in a Director level role with a focus on supporting and advising the firm’s Third-Party Governance group to ensure a governance program that complies with all applicable regulations. Being abreast of latest regulatory developments in the arena of vendor management and third-party governance whilst driving the implementation of changes necessary to comply with regulation changes, is a key part of the role.

In order to qualify for this excellent opportunity, you will be a qualified lawyer 7+ years PQE from a law firm, large complex company or financial institution with a focus on negotiating complex outsourcing and tech contracts. Other requirements include: 
  • Strong knowledge of knowledge of regulatory guidance on outsourcing and other third-party relationships
  • Experience in driving projects to completion
  • Experience of frequent interactions with senior business leaders
  • Degree Educated
  • Excellent influencing and diplomacy skills
