As a Junior Pensions Administrator, you’ll be providing a variety of services to pension schemes across two types, defined benefit & defined contribution. Some of your tasks will include:
- Performing administration tasks such as dealing with new entrants, retirements, transfers and leavers
- Handling queries regarding DWP (Department for Work & Pensions) and HMRC (HM Revenue and Customs)
- Amending non-financial details such as change of addresses, change of details etc.
You’ll benefit from being trained by more senior members of the team, and they will give you the tools and the knowledge to progress within this business, the structure is flat, and progression is both vertical and horizontal.
Previous office-based experience is preferred, yet not essential as is pensions industry experience but what’s most important is your attitude towards work, and flexibility with regards to learning and picking up new tasks.
